Thank you to IMHSA for your support, and to all of our Shamong families for your generosity, enthusiasm, and school spirit. This incredible accomplishment would not have been possible without our entire school community coming together. We are so grateful for your continued support!

Special Education Week 2025

On May 30th, 2025, District Resource Officer, Larry MacArthur organized a K-9 demonstration for the students at Indian Mills Elementary School. Thanks to his contacts at the Burlington County Sheriff's Office, he was able to bring in several handlers and their amazing K-9 partners.
They had a great lineup:
• Patrolman Peters and his partner Pepper from Pemberton Township Police.
• Corporal York and his partner Duco from New Hanover Police.
• Detective Wolverton with his partner Batman and Detective Alter with her partner Jett, both from the Burlington County Sheriff's Department.
The teams showcased a variety of K-9 skills, including narcotics detection, explosives detection, tracking, and patrol bite work. The kids, ranging from kindergarten to fourth grade, were absolutely captivated by the demonstrations. Afterward, they even got a chance to pet the dogs, which was definitely a highlight for them!

These two lucky students got to be Principal for the day at IMS with Ms. Moore.
